**This class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and for Child Care Providers and School Bus Drivers
The CA State law requires a Student to complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and watch the Asthma video online.

Attend Scheduled Skills Session
After completing the Heartsaver First Aid Online Course and printing the Certificate of Completion, attend schedule Skills Session and receive AHA card.
Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online
The Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online Course contains information on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This course provides a one-stop shop for pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED training needs for child care providers. You will learn:
The Four Steps of First Aid (Prevent, Be Safe, Phone 911, Act)
Illnesses and injuries (topics include but are not limited to)
Bleeding and Bandaging
Diabetes and Low Blood Sugar
Head, Neck, and Spine Injuries
Child and infant safety checklist
CPR, AED and choking
CPR for infants
CPR and AED for children
CPR and AED for adults (optional)
How to help a choking adult (optional)
How to help a choking child
How to help a choking infant
After completing the online portion, Students practice and demonstrate their skills with an AHA Instructor and receives a Pediatric First Aid CPR AED card, valid for two (2) years.
Length: Online class average 2.5 hours / Skills Session 45 minutes
Student must bring Certificate of Completion from online class
